  • Revolving Energy Fund

    Status: Accepting Donations

    The Revolving Energy Fund helps community organisations and businesses to install renewable energy and save money. Just one donation helps us continually fund clean energy projects and tackle climate change for years to come! Donate today to make an ongoing, sustainable difference by helping to provide no/low interest loans to your community organisations and local businesses.

    100% of your donation will go to fund renewable energy in our region. Please include ‘Revolving Energy Fund’ as a reference in your donation.

  • Heathcote Sustainable Community House Fundraiser

    Target: $5000
    Status: Accepting Donations

    Heathcote Community House is fundraising to install a roof top solar panel system on their building. Their aim is to become more energy efficient and save on their electricity bills. The payback period could be under five years and the saved funds can be used to increase their services and maintain their facilities. The project will also allow them to connect with their community about the benefits of rooftop solar and the processes to assess energy efficiency in local homes!

    100% of your donation will go to this project. Please include ‘Heathcote Community House’ as a reference in your donation.

  • Kyabram Solar Homes Fundraiser

    Status: Accepting Donations

    With the support of the Rotary Clubs of both Shepparton and Kyabram, Goulbourn Valley Community Energy (GVCE) were able to help Kyabram local, Ron Barnes, get a new solar system for his home. Ron’s energy bills will be heavily reduced, right at the time that power bills are going up. GVCE want to put more solar on more homes in the area to help combat energy poverty and reduce emissions. You can help with this work by making a tax free donation below.

    100% of your donation will go to fund solar on deserving homes in Kyabram. Please include ‘Kyabram’ as a reference in your donation.

Funded Projects

  • Maryborough Community House Solar Fundraiser

    Target: $3500
    Status: FUNDED and INSTALLED

    Maryborough Community House have install a 6.3kW solar system on their building – funded by the community. Secretary of the Community House Committee, Carolyn Eldridge, stated that the solar system will reduce their power bills by more than half while also reducing reliance on burning coal for energy.

    100% of community donations went to funding this project.

  • Quarry Hill Golf Club Solar Fundraiser

    Target: $7000
    Status: FUNDED and INSTALLED

    Quarry Hill Golf club fundraised to put solar panels on their clubhouse; installing a 6.6kW solar system. The money saved by the club on their electricity costs is going into providing a course that will be better enjoyed by golfers, disc golfers, walkers and others. The club is aware of the benefits to the environment that generating the majority of their energy locally from a renewable source will have too!
