The BSG is home to number of action groups who work on specific sustainability issues. Action groups are volunteer lead and hold their own regular meetings and events. The Ironbark Gully Friends

This project aims to construct a shared path along the full length of the Ironbark Gully and to convert some 16ha of disused land alongside the gully into wildlife habitat. Community gardens will also be established.
