2 - 3 pm, Intro to Home Energy Efficiency:

Gain an insight into the basics behind achieving an energy efficient home in our region, whether you rent or own.

• Energy efficiency in context and energy basics

• Why would we want an energy efficient home?

• Appliances and efficiency

• Heating, cooling, hot water systems, and lighting

• Building Shell Efficiency

• Draughts, insulation, windows – practical tips and demonstration pieces

This free event, hosted, led and funded by the Bendigo Sustainability Group, is also supported by the Victorian Government’s Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action through the New Energy Jobs Fund program.
