Volunteer for Bendigo Sustainable House Day
Bendigo Sustainability Group is looking for volunteers to help deliver Sustainable House Days in 2026 and 2027.
Whether you're interested in sustainability, events, media, marketing, or community engagement, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, and contribute to an inspiring community event.
Currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:
FILM MAKER - film featured homes and capture the event. Then edit in your own style to upload to our website, YouTube and social media.
Assistant Event Director - Work alongside the Event Director to help plan, coordinate and deliver the event. A great leadership opportunity for anyone interested in event management.
Editor - create videos for our website, YouTube and social media.
Photographer - Capture the homes, volunteers, and visitors
Event Day House Volunteers - Welcome visitors, assist homeowners, help manage visitor flow, and support the smooth running of the event.
Media/ Communications - Help create social media content, write promotional material, and assist with marketing.
Sponsorship Coordinator - Connect with local businesses, build relationships and help secure sponsorship to support the event.
House hosts - Open your home to the community and inspire others by sharing your sustainability journey.
Sub-Committee members - help shape the event by contributing ideas, assisting with planning, and helping guide the event from planning through to delivery.
No previous experience is necessary—just an interest in sustainability and working as part of a collaborative team.
